“Two are better than one…

For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow...”

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

A Few Questions

Have you felt the drift in your life? Where you were once driven by God’s purpose, have you now settled into other rhythms? Very often, when we drift from our mission, it’s because we’ve drifted from the men who help us live on mission.

God's Strategy

We were never meant to pursue our calling alone. God’s mission doesn’t advance in isolation; it advances through faithful men locking arms. Ecclesiastes reminds us, “Two are better than one… For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow” (4:9–10). That’s not sentimental advice—it’s God’s strategy.

Friendship fuels mission. Brotherhood sustains faithfulness.

Essential Friendships

Friendships are not just a respite from responsibility and stress. The men in your life aren’t just hunting buddies, coworkers, or gym partners. They are essential for godly faithfulness—non-negotiable relationships that bind us together for the purpose He has given us.

Do you have friends? That’s a good question. But here’s a deeper, life-changing one: Do you have brothers who are willing and ready to walk this purpose-driven life with you?

This is the heart behind a Huddle Group—MD5 men taking their shared experience and staying the course together.

Let Me Speak Directly

You need to find a Huddle Group. You need to be connecting with like-minded men with whom you can walk forward in your God-given purpose—challenging, encouraging, praying, growing, and serving TOGETHER. You need this. We all need this.

How can you get involved in a Huddle Group? Start by connecting with your MD5 leader and ask how to get started. If that is not an option, message me (501-514-4223) or any of the other MD5 leaders you know.

Stop making excuses. Take the step of (re)connecting. Brotherhood isn’t a luxury; it’s how men stay faithful.
