A Kingdom Investment

As I write this, I am sitting in Africa—Zambia, to be specific, in the town of Livingstone. I am finishing a mission trip with BMMI (Baptist Medical Missions International). I have been here, along with 18 fellow servants, for almost two weeks working alongside two missionaries to support their medical clinics. My job has been to share the gospel with those who attend.

While this trip in itself is an investment in the lives of the missionaries and the local people, the greatest financial investment I have made while here is sponsoring a teacher in a village school established by one of the missionaries.

Eternal Impact

For a small annual amount, my wife and I are able to help a young lady teach children—not only about letters, words, and numbers, but about the Lord as well. It is a small investment when compared with the rewards that this young lady, her students, the school, and her village will receive.

Invest in a life; the ripples will have an eternal impact. That’s how Jesus did it.
