Keep this simple truth

"Remove far from me falsehood and lying; give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with the food that is needful for me, lest I be full and deny you and say, “Who is the LORD?” or lest I be poor and steal and profane the name of my God."

Proverbs 30:8–9

Remember This? You may recall Andy Stanley sharing this passage in one of our MD5 sessions. God knows just the right amount to give us in every area of our lives. It's Who We Know The secret of our contentment is not found in what we have; it is found in Who we know. When the Lord is our Shepherd, we shall not want. If the latest trends of the world shepherds our thoughts and desires, there is an insatiable desire created that nothing in the world will ever satisfy. We've Found the Secret! Happiness and contentment does not come from seeking happiness and contentment. Happiness and contentment comes from seeking God. When we realize that our relationship with God and His Son Jesus Christ is the only means of achieving the contentment we so desperately desire, we’ve found the secret—it is our faith, not our finances, that leads to contentment!
